Jaia and Ellis first met in Chicago at a meetup with a group of mutual friends. They barely spoke beyond a simple hello during the initial meeting. In fact, Jaia thought he talked too much and walked away from the table he was chatting at. Little did either of them know, they would love the other deeply in just a year from that first glance. A close friend of Jaia’s brought them closer together after spending much time with Ellis while Jaia still lived in Detroit under the Covid lockdown. Soon enough, Jaia was flying back and forth between Chicago and Detroit every other weekend to see and spend time with her friend….and Ellis. After some months, Jaia moved to Chicago and her and Ellis solidified their relationship soon after. In just ten months from the move, they were serious about and in love with each other. They got engaged in August of 2021.

Ellis was born, on December 31st of 1997, and raised in Chicago. In grade school and college he enjoyed and participated in many arts, sports, and interests. He attended and graduated from the University of Central Arkansas. While he is very adventurous in his pursuits of random fact finding, glass blowing, and rock climbing, that same adventurousness sometimes leads to thrill seeking. He aspires to one day go sky diving, drifting, and anything else that would give his loving fiancée a heart attack. Although he does seek a good thrill, he is one of the most cautious and protective people you’ll ever meet. He adores his family, friends, and partners and fur babies Sasha and Nina.

About Jaia… from Ellis.

Jaia was born April 2nd, 1997 and was raised in Detroit. As a child reading was a lot more fun to her than learning how to run *just now learning at her grown ass age*. For most of her adolescence she was a dancer and developed a love and passion for sculpting. She aspires to recreate marble sculptures out of clay. Jaia is a person who is either all in or not at all, for her friends she will do just about anything for them and will always go the extra mile to make sure that they know she is there for them. Her passion for the arts knows no bounds and her dedication to making and sticking to a plan is second to none. She has one of the purest hearts this world has ever seen, to know her is to love her and every new person she meets makes sure to remind Ellis that they would do harm to him about her.
